Vanity top sizes: which top fits your cabinet
A vanity top is normally about 1 in wider than the cabinet and 1 in deeper, so it overhangs the doors. A 30 in cabinet takes a 31 in top, a 36 in cabinet a 37 in top. Use a 22 in deep top on a standard 21 in deep cabinet and a 19 in deep top on an 18 in space saving cabinet.

Depth: 19 or 22 in
Standard bathroom vanity cabinets are about 21 in deep and take a 22 in top. Narrow, space saving cabinets are about 18 in deep and take a 19 in top, which suits small apartment bathrooms and powder rooms.
Single, double or offset bowl
Up to 49 in, most projects use a single centred bowl. From 49 in, an offset bowl leaves counter space on one side. A 73 in top fits two bowls for a shared bathroom or primary suite.
